Cultivating Connections, Empowering Women

Join us for a transformative experience designed to foster connections and empower women. This event features insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and engaging activities. Celebrate women's achievements across various sectors, share experiences, and gain invaluable knowledge.

AWG Paris will be the host of this meeting with Sandra Gogel as the Regional Chair. We are grateful to the Region 3 Reps, The AAWE FAWCO committee members, the AWG Paris board, and advisors Clydette de Groot and Elsie Bose for their help in organizing this event. 

Registration Fee

  • Early Bird: €120 (until July 14)
  • Regular: €150 (from July 15)

Deadline for Registration: September 15

  • Friday, October 4: Sandra Gogel’s apartment near the Eiffel Tower, 7th arrondissement (address provided upon registration)
  • Saturday, October 5: Cercle de L'Union Interalliée, 33 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008, Paris

  • 3:30PM - 4:30PM: Guided Tour of Notre Dame led by Rebecca DeFraites and friends.Please note this will be the outside only as the newly restored interior will not be open till December.
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Welcome Cocktail at Sandy Gogel’s. Welcome by Ann Marie Morrow, FAWCO President and Caroline Highcock, AWG President.  

Saturday, October 5, 2024

  • 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM: Parisian Breakfast
  • 9:30 AM: Welcome, presentations by FAWCO President and Board members, as well as FAWCO Foundation members, other inspiring speakers, various thematic panels and keynote presentations. There will be networking opportunities and interactive events. In person Keynote Address by Peninah Nthenya Musyimi, Founder of Safe Spaces and Awesome Blossoms.
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Buffet Lunch
  • 1:00 PM – 3:15: Program Continues
  • 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM: Networking Aperitif
  • Presentation and raffle drawing for the beautiful handmade quilt made exclusively for our Regional by Nan de Laubadère of AAWE Paris and FAUSA and a stunning bespoke painting by Tharien van Eck.
  • 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Optional Dinner at a ”cool” Parisian restaurant

  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Antique Market Tour with Sandy Gogel
  • 12:00 PM: Optional Lunch at a local restaurant

Additional Notes:

  • Attendees are responsible for their own accommodation. A list of suggested hotels is provided in the link for registrants. 
  • Everyone is welcome to join our Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch which will be at their own cost.
  • Registration fee includes all tours, the Friday cocktail party, meals at the Cercle de L’Union Interalliée, and all meeting activities on Saturday.
  • Guests will only be required to pay the registration fee if they will be attending the Saturday Regional Meeting.
  • Please note: dress code for Saturday at the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée: no sneakers or jeans. Men who register for the Regional will need a suit jacket and tie. Women’s dress is business attire. Please note that this dress code is required by the Cercle but that there is no dress code in place for any other of the other activities during the weekend.
  • All attendees of the Saturday Regional Meeting at the Cercle will be required to pay the registration fee. This is because the Club charges per head for the meals.
  • Unfortunately, children will not be able to attend the Regional Meeting on Saturday or any of the weekend activities.
  • There are two raffles featuring a bespoke painting by Tharien van Eck and a quilt by Nan de Labaudère.The proceeds will go to the Awesome Blossoms project and the draw will be on Saturday 5th October 2024. Links to buy tickets for both raffles will be sent to all registrants.
